5 Ways to Keep Your Skin Healthy After Soaks
Soaking in a hot tub is a wonderful, healthy thing to do for your body, especially when you take good care of your skin. Here are a few tips to keep your epidermis fresh and happy while you use your hot tub.

1. Shower Off Afterward
Use warm water and soap to wash away any lingering chlorine or other chemicals. Don’t use hot water, which can strip away some of the natural protection the outer surface of the skin provides and leave you vulnerable to irritants and dryness.

2. Pat Dry, Don’t Rub
Make this a part of your skin care routine when you emerge from your hot tub—be gentle to your skin by patting it dry instead of rubbing, which can pull and irritate. Find towels that are made of a nonabrasive material like bamboo yarn or Egyptian cotton, which are extremely soft, yet durable and absorbent.

3. Moisturize

4. Check Your Water Quality
