Oxygen Hot Tub System
Hot Tub / Spa Oxygen System, an alternative to Chlorine and Bromine
Oxygen System
Active oxygen can be used as an alternative sanitiser for your hot tub water. Oxygen is a much milder solution to chlorine and bromine, so it is recommended for bathers with sensitive skin.
Oxygen sanitiser is a combination of tablets and liquid. Both must be used for it to work.
Daily Hot Tub Use:
An oxygen level of between 5-10mg/l must be maintained in your hot tub at all times. Prior to bathing add one 20g tablet per 1,500 litres of spa water (one 20g tablet per day should be sufficient for normal daily spa use). Note: 10ml = approximately 10g
Weekly Hot Tub Maintenance:
When performing the weekly maintenance, it is important to ensure the pumps are running and the hot tub is uncovered.
